Ivan Pustovalov is the founder of RightNOW, a digital rights-protection platform for people dealing with Spanish bureaucracy. He is a mediator registered in Section 1 of the Registry of Mediators of Spain’s Ministry of Justice (civil, commercial and family mediation, all of Spain) and a law student at UNED, Spain’s national university.
His path into Spanish law was personal: after moving to Spain he went through residence paperwork, benefit claims, bank disputes and court correspondence first-hand — and turned that experience into a platform that gives migrants and residents the same procedural leverage that insiders have.
Before Spain, he spent over a decade in media: a philosophy graduate (Ural Federal University, 2003, specialising in ontology and epistemology), he owned the In-Terra publishing house in Yekaterinburg, publishing the city magazines «Banzay» and «Style of Your City». He is a board member of Russia Tomorrow, an association supporting civil society among Russian speakers in Spain.
